Hi I have a synology nas drive a imac, 2 windows pc’s 2 iphones and 2 ipods in my home!
On my nas drive i have all my music how best do i set-up itunes to read the same library and to ensure that each time i add a new album(from cd) each computer can pick it up.

I would just set up iTunes to NOT have it copy the files when adding to the library. Then the library is just a set of links to the files so they can live on the NAS as something that other computers can find.
But you’ll have to drag and drop new content into iTunes to add it to your library each time. No way for it to automatically “know” it is there.
