Hi gary, I recently upgraded from iphoto to Aperture and I am quite happy with it although, I do import quite a few images from internet pages and I am finding it a hassle to save the image into my desktop, open up aperture and drag the image into a certain folder. With iPhoto there is the option to add the image into the iphoto library but I’ve been trying to find a way to have that same function in Aperture but cant seem to find a solution.

Do u know how to do add this function to my mac? or where I could find a solution?

Thanks
Carlos M

Why not just drag and drop the image you want added to Aperture onto the dock icon, in Aperture 3 this will by default import the dragged image into a new untitled project.

Open Aperture, hit command+I and navigate to your desktop

Sounds like a quick job for Automator…
