I use vocalive with the irig mic. on exporting my recording by email, the file is attached as an M4a file and plays on my Iphone when accessed through my Iphone email.
But when downloaded through my Mac, it only downloads it as an mp3 file and this mp3 just does not play in itunes or anything else. It does not let me download it as m4a itself either.

  1. I’d contact the developer of Vocalive for support. That app is creating the mp3 file, correct? Or are you converting it with something else?

That app is creating the m4a file that plays on any iPhone when emailed. I
emailed the to my gmail account and it showed up
As an m4a file on my iMac and cluck play, worked fine. There was a link
Saying download as mp3. Now once that was downloaded, it did not play anywhere on the mac.

But the same m4a file that was lying in my gmail, when accessed from
My iPhone was perfectly playing on the iPhone.

I can’t because it only has one lnkntbat says Play and the other that say Download as mp3.

Both there is no sound at all!

They said it is a gmail issue if gmail is not allowing me to download the m4a file itself ! Also gmail is displaying a link “download as mp3″ that mp3 doesn’t play. So would have u know where I can write for gmail support. ?
