I’m trying to put together a little music video and I want to sync the original audio track to the video files in which the performer is lipsyncing.. Is there any easy way I can do this?

  1. So the music and audio are at different speeds? There’s no real way to do that. Changing one would distort it — speeding it up or slowing it down.
You can try to change the speed of the video, through trial-and-error, but it will take some work and probably won’t look right when it is done.

I think Gary misunderstood your question (or I did). I assume that the video and audio are indeed at the same speed, and you simply want to sync them. To do this, you need to use the precision editor. Here’s a tutorial: http://www.apple.com/findouthow/movies/#trim
