MacMost Forum / backing up iphoto

I have an old 80gb external drive is there a way of backing up just my photos from iphoto to it ? Thanks Simon

    Well first make sure you are doing normal backups — to a Time Machine drive of everything. Assuming you are doing that, then a second backup of your photo library onto a spare 80GB drive isn’t a bad idea. Might as well use it for something, right?
    Just copy your Photos folder over to that drive. That takes your entire iPhoto library and anything else you have stored in your Photos folder.
