MacMost Forum / Can I hook a Mac Mini to a old iMac G4 and use the G4's screen.

I was thinking about getting a Mac Mini but I like the look of the iMac I have. Can I use the iMac as an external display.

    The short answer is no. I mean, of course you can do anything — re-engineer the parts of the G4 into a monitor — but really, no, most people can’t do it.
