In Safari I often need to enter an email address to get info emailed to me. I use three different email addresses: one for business, one for personal communication, and one when I expect to get junk or SPAM email.
Is there a way to set up a shortcut in Safari for each email address so I don’t have to type the whole address each time?

Yes. This is easy to do. Use the Text Replacement feature in OS X. Go to System Preferences, Keyboard, Text and add a shortcut to map something to each email address. For example, you could use em1 and map that to one email address, em2 to another, etc. This would work not only in Safari, but almost anywhere you enter text.

I am the original submitter of this question. The text replacement feature works great for me in several applications, but I cannot get it to work in Safari.
Tony: Not sure why this isn't working for you. I use it all the time. Try typing your shortcut and then hitting the spacebar after it. Also, are you trying in a regular web form? It is possible that an advanced web app is using more complex methods to accept text input that could be ignoring shortcuts.

I tried it on several different websites - some work, some don't. So it must depend upon the way specific web apps accept input.
