MacMost Forum / Config 802.1x on Lion

My university uses WPA2 network to provide student-internet service. I had to config 802.1 in order to enter the network.

How ever, in Lion, the “+” button was removed. So how can I config to enter the network of my university.

Here is the link to the screenshot of it. (picasa link, no Virus)

Hope to get help soon.
Have a nice day.

  1. I’ve never had to deal with 802.1X before. Seems like it is only used by some schools. Anyway, after some searching it appears you need to create a profile (a file of some sort). Then you can drag and drop it in there.
Creating one should be done by your network admin and distributed to you. Perhaps it is already available to you in some way, but you haven’t noticed it?
I also read that the iPhone Configuration Utility (http://support.apple.com/kb/DL851) can create these kinds of profiles. So maybe investigate that.
