Hi,

Today I purchased an old -but beautiful- Powermac G4. It came with no CDs… My question: how do I make a bootable CD from the Tiger OS? I have Carbon Copy Cloner, but I don’t know how I will be able to restore via Carbon Copy Cloner if something happens. —–

  1. You can’t. You need to find a Tiger installer CD. Maybe you can find one online somewhere.
If you use Carbon Copy Cloner and make a complete clone of the drive, then you can use it to restore the machine if something happens.
But if you have anything that important, why are you trusting it to such an old Mac anyway?
