MacMost Forum / Cropping a movie in iMovie 09

To Gary and co.,
Does anyone know if it is possible to crop a movie the same way that you’d crop a photograph like you’d do in iPhoto or Photoshop?

Preferably, in iMovie 09.

    Absolutely.
    Just put the clip into the main project area (top). Then select it. Press C to bring up the crop controls. You can then use the preview pane (top right) to adjust the cropping. The green outline can be dragged around and resized.
    Then export the project from iMovie and you’ll have your new video.
