MacMost Forum / Default setting for alarms in iCal

Hi Gary,

Is there a way of editing the default periods of time for the alarms in iCal and its equivalent calendars in iphone and ipad??

The earliest you could set an alarm or reminder for an event is 2 days, which is a bit short.

    The Calendar settings on the iPhone and iPad are pretty limited for event. TO have real control, you need to use iCal on your Mac. But as for a default, I’ve never seen any way to change those, except for this post which might be a good starting point for investigation:
