MacMost Forum / do I need more ram

Hi gary I am interested in buying the new 15 inch macbook pro, I use photoshop alot, should I upgrade to 8g of ram? will it make photoshop run faster? thanks

    8GB of RAM will help — more RAM is always good. It is just a matter of budget vs. power. If you can afford it, then why not?
    As for whether it will make Photoshop run faster, it probably depends on the size of the files you are working on.
