I have double emails in my inbox on my MacBook Pro. When I delete one it deletes both. Can I somehow fix this doubling from happening?

  1. It is most likely on the server end. You don’t mention which email system you are using. But I’d look for the problem there, not on your Mac.

    An easy thing to try is Mailbox > Rebuild. I don’t think it can hurt, and I can say it solved a similar issue on my Mac about a year ago. I can’t recall if my problem was with the Inbox or another folder, but it solved the problem.
