MacMost Forum / Facetime Questions

Do you have any inside info on the facetime over 3g? Apple and att have said that we can expect it in early 2011, but I see no progress. Anything to add?

    I haven’t heard anything, no.
    But I wouldn’t be too anxious for Facetime on 3G. I got to use it on a slow wifi connection once and it was painful. Basically like a frame per second. I’d imagine it would be the same over 3G.
    I have used it over a 4G connection, though, and it works so-so. Still nothing compared to the full wifi experience which is very cool.

    I have to say, I was somewhat deisappointed by how buggy it is. I call my family and we are both on wifi, but when we click the facetime option, It never works. Oh well, guess I will be waiting for an Iphone six on verizon
