My main machine is a Mac Pro from early 2009 — 8 cores, lots of memory, etc. I also use an Intel Core 2 Duo iMac from 2007 to produce the video podcast. I have an old MacBook Pro from 2006 that I use when I travel. I have a few old Macs lying around too, like a Mac Mini Intel Core Solo.
I actually priced out the Mac Pro to use in my classroom. Although it looks like our school will be going with Mini’s and I can use my MacBook to network with the Mini….
