MacMost Forum / How can I use my iPhone as a wireless router?

I have heard that it is possible to use an phone as a broadband router. Is this doable? if so, how?

    Do you mean setting up a “Personal Hotspot” so you can connect your laptop or other device to the Internet through your iPhone’s 3G connection?
    It is under Settings, General, Network, Personal Hotspot. It was added in iOS 4.
    But you have to have a data plan with your carrier that supports it.
