How Do I Get My iMac Music On To My iPhone?

How do I get my iTunes tunes on my iMac (Fully up to date Sierra) on to my iPhone 6s (also fully up to date)?

There are several ways to do it. One is to simply connect your iPhone to your Mac and sync it with iTunes. Apple has instructions for this here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201253. You don't need to use a table, either. You can do it over Wi-Fi: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203075. The technique in iTune is the same, it is just the physical connection that is different.
I strongly suggest that you go with the "manual" sync that is mentioned on those pages. This lets you select the exact music you put on your device, rather than have it all take place automatically each time you sync. Either way, remember that if you use this method that your iMac is where your music library resides and to keep that organized, safe and backed-up. Your iPhone is just going to contain a copy of that music for listening purposes. A mistake a lot of people make is to sync their iPhone and then get rid of the music on their Mac (accidentally or on purpose) and then they find out the next time they sync that it is removed from their iPhone too (that is what "sync" means, after all).
You may also want to consider using Apple Music, which is what I do. Now I don't need to worry too much about what is on my Mac and what is on my iPhone. I just have access to it all everywhere, including things I don't even know I want to listen to yet.

Many thanks that sounds straightforward. I will try it.
