MacMost Forum / How Do I Send a Video Right-side-up In iOS?

Sometimes when I email or post a video from my iPhone, it arrives upside-down. When I capture the video, the shutter/volume button is on top, which I assume is correct. I’m sure I’m probably overlooking some small detail, but how can I be sure I’m sending the video in the proper orientation? —–

    I think this is the situation:
    The video should include orientation data — just like photos. So you play it back in the right player (QuickTime Player, iTunes, etc) it should realize how it was rotated and play it back OK. But some people may not have that, so it plays it back without rotation.
    The only way to handle that might be to hold the camera the other way, volume on bottom so that the camera lens is at the top. Try that and see.

    I’m confused. Where is the “shutter/volume” button on an iPhone “at the top”? Shutter button on my iPhone 4S is on the touchscreen bottom center.
