Is there anyway to turn off swiping in Apple Mail on an iMac using a Magic Mouse? I’m constantly accidentally swiping a message and sometimes deleting it. This is obviously great for touch screens and/or track pads but not so much for mice. I see in the Mail Prefs what swipes do but not how to deactivate them. Any suggestions you might have would be greatly appreciated.
I have a 27″ 5K Retina iMac running El Capitan 10.11.6

I don't see a way to turn it off. But if your concern is accidentally swiping then keep in mind that you have the option to Edit, Undo (Command+Z) if that ever happens.
