Hi. I created a couple slides with animation in Keynote. I then used File > Export to produce a MOV QuickTime file. When I play the MOV file in QuickTime, the slides and animation look fine.
In iMovie, I imported the QuickTime file in order to use the animated slides in a video. The import worked fine, but in iMovie the top and bottom 10% of the slide images are cut off. Any idea how to export slides from Keynote so that the full slide images appear in iMovie?
It seems like iMovie is automatiCally cropping the slide images. Maybe I have a slide size setting incorrect in Keynote. Thx

It is just a matter of dimensions. If you are exporting from Keynote in a 4:3 ratio, and creating an iMovie project in a 16:9 ratio, then it will either crop or add black bars.
So fix one of the two ratios. Either change your Keynote presentation, or change the iMovie project.
In iMovie, go to File, Project Properties and change the “Aspect Ratio.”
Is it possible to convert a Keynote Presentstion to iMovie using my iPad 2?
No, not really. Not just using your iPad. To convert to video you’d need to bring it into Keynote on a Mac.
When I convert a keynote presentation to a movie I´ve noticed that we loose quality. Is there a way to fix this?
Just save it at the quality level you wish to use. You’ve got all of the options.
