I upgraded my Ram today and after opening my MBP I was amazed at the amount of dust inside. My MBP is 2yrs old and this was the first time I opened the main compartment. The Mother board, Fans etc. are covered with balls of dust. I can’t afford to bring it to a Pro, some say use compressed air some say do not. Have you any recommendations and or videos on this issue ? —–

  1. Compressed air, sure. Just the kind from the little cans you get in stores. Nothing stronger. I’ve done it many times.
I guess like anything, use with care, of course.

  2. Mr Anthony Cotton says:

I was told by an Apple tech guy if you did this under warranty you would loose it, A gut was on YouTube and he had a brand new iMac and he showed how to remove the screen. He`s warranty is up the spout too. If it`s out of warranty then you can do what you want.
