MacMost: Making the most of your Mac, iPhone, iPod, and Apple TV.

An otherwise friendly photo-processing software company has produced a downloadable PDF manual with white text on a black background. Can someone help with changing to black text on white so I can print economically? Thanks.

  1. That’s a tough one. I see some suggestions that the Adobe Reader (free from Adobe) has some color options that may help. But the first thing I would try to do is to try to print a page. Try it with Preview and then try it with Adobe Reader. It may be smart enough to know that a white-on-black document should be printed black-on-white. Web browsers have been doing it for years, so why not PDF viewers? I couldn’t find a white-on-black document to try it on, myself.
