MacMost Forum / Iphone 4 wi-fi speed falls

Why does my Iphone 4 show lower speed test results than my macbook, for the same wi-fi router? (.17 Mbps vs 2.24 Mbps)

    Speedtest.net on my mac Safari and Iphone app called Speedtest. Same server location for both tests.

      I would try others. But keep in mind that you are using two different tests here — a browser one for the Mac, I assume, and an app for the iPhone. Kind of like measuring with two different devices.
      I would test with some real-world stuff. Like try to load large PDF documents or web pages. See if you can really notice a difference.
