Am somewhat of a Luddite on new 4S. Although purposely set up to receive emails, it’s not my primary platform for them and not where I store them. Is there a way – other than checking every little circle next to individual messages – to mass-wipe ALL messages in an iPhone Mail folder? (for instance, “Inbox.”) Net research has been less than helpful.

  1. No, there’s no easy way to do it from the iPhone. If you are using a modern system (IMAP, Gmail, Exchange, iCloud) then you can always do it on your computer and the changes will be reflected on your iPhone.

Thanks Gary. Didn’t think so. I use an “old school” POP service. I’ll just live with it. Other than that, the 4S is a pretty amazing device. Highly recommend vs Android.
