Hi, could I use an iPod 30 gig as a time machine for 10 gig of data?
Yours sincerely, Teddy, a new fan!

  1. I suppose you could, if you really wanted to. But I wouldn’t recommend it. An iPod is much more expensive than a small hard drive. Heck, you can get a 1TB drive for much less than a 30GB iPod. Plus, you are assuming that you will only have 10GB of stuff to back up — that can easily grow to much more.
