MacMost Forum / ITunes Wi-Fi Sync Grayed Out

Watching your iOS 5 episode. Decided to try iTunes Wi-Fi Sync with my iPad. Plugged it into the wall. Went to settings. However, the “sync now” button is grayed out. What am I missing?

    Have you turned it on? Connect to your Mac with the cable. In iTunes, go to the Summary page for that iPad. Check the box for syncing via wi-fi.

    I clicked renew lease under the Wi-fi settings (click the blue arrow next to the wi-fi you are connected) and it worked.

    Just keep repeating and after about 3-4 times it should work.
