MacMost Forum / M4R Conversion

is there a free & easy to use software for converting music from mp3 to m4r format?

    Yes. GarageBand. Just bring the .mp3 into GarageBand and then trim it (Ringtones can only be so long) and export it as a ringtone — which is a m4r.
