Which are the main text editors (excluding Textedit; Microsoft Word, Pages, OpenOffice and Neooffice? (lf any!)

    You named the ones I would have thought of first, with the exception of BBEdit and its little brother Text Wrangler. A Google search turns up lots more: jEdit, TextMate, etc. You can find lots listed at the downloads section of Apple.com.
    Is there something specific you are looking for?
