MacMost Forum / MacBook Pro temperature

I would like to know what would be the normal temperature for a MacBook Pro. I understand that compact computers tend to have higher temperatures, but I am just concern if it will affect my system in any way? Temp. has gone up to 98 and external fan does not seem to help much.

    98 degrees doesn’t sound very high. (which scale?) Your MacBook Pro will regulate the temperature with the fans, and if it gets too high for some reason it will shut down. Shouldn’t affect your system in the meantime.
