MacMost Forum / Multitask on iPad

If I start to update iPad apps, can I do anything else while they are updating, like play a game or read email?

    Multitasking is part of iOS 4.1/4.2 which will be available for the iPad in November, according to Apple.
    But updating apps is something that is a little different. It depends on what you mean. If you can get to the Home screen and tap on other icons, then yes. If you are locked into waiting, then no.
