On a whim i wanted to make a smart playlist that would collect my tunes with numbers in the title, like ’2000 Light Years From Home’ by the Stones, or ’1980′ by Herb Alpert or even ’25 or 6 to 4′ by Chicago. I haven’t come up with a good (i.e. elegant) solution. Name contains numeral is not a choice in the rules options, and making nine or ten rules to check for any digit seems a bit ridiculous. Any ideas? —–

  1. I think the rule with ten items in it, each checking for one of the 10 digits, is the way to go. What you are asking is an unusual request. There just isn’t any easy way to do it. But a ten item rule isn’t that hard to make. It would take a minute or two to create.
