MacMost Forum / reading the .exe file format

Is there a way to read .exe format files on my iMac? The Post Office just sent us a CD to print postage on computers

    .exe is not a file format. It is an application. So you can’t “read” it, it has to run. But .exe applications are for Windows computers. You can’t run them on a Mac.
    Well, you can, but only by installing Windows (either in Boot Camp or a virtual environment).
    I’d contact them to see if they have something that works for Macs.
