i have by mistake deleted an important file from the desk top unfortunately i emptied the trash HOW CAN I GET MY FILE BACK PLEASE HELP!!!THANKS

  1. This is another reason why you should have a Time Machine backup. It is easy to recover files like this from your Time Machine backup.
    If you don’t backup, then your options are limited. You could use a program like http://macmost.com/filesalvage.html to try to get it back, but it is a long shot. Every second that goes by increases the chances that the data is being overwritten on your hard drive.

    I have been going in circles trying to open and access “user:sparsebundle” to recover a lost document. I get as far as seeing the sparsebundle image and things stop right there. Please advise how I can open this sparsebundle and access file in it. Thank you,
