I have some footage of someone being interviewed, and once in a while in the background I can hear someone else talking and it’s pretty loud. Is there a way to eliminate or at least reduce the sound of the person in the background talking? The problem is that both people talk at the same time and I want to hear the person being interviewed more clearly. If this is possible, what program would I use and how can I do it? Can it be done in Final Cut Pro? Thanks. —–

  1. I don’t think this can be done easily. Pros probably use expensive equipment and a lot of time to do this. But I would try asking on a high-end or pro-level video editing forum to see how it can be done.
