How can I reset my iPhone 3GS that I am using as an iPod now that I have an iPhone 4 back to a os 3.xxxx

    It isn’t easy and I’ve never tried it. You basically have to find the 3.1.X iOS somewhere (download from sites with questionable reputations) and do it manually.
    Search for “revert iphone 3gs to 3.1″ for some articles on it.
    Also, check out this forum where people discuss it.
