Safari’s First page accidentally got erased

HI and the first page of Safari got accidentally closed with another page still up. Now, I can’t get it back. I have tried to re install Safari, but to no avail. Now, I have no page where I can go back or forward and no way of typing in an URL. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? If you do, I thank you, in advance, for your help.

    Adele,

Can you explain more? The "first page" could refer to a lot of things. See this forum post and answer from 2 weeks ago:

I'm confused, though, about your statement that you can't enter in a URL. Is the navigation bar missing too? You can get back your navigation bar be selecting View, Show Toolbar.
