Hi Gary,
I just watched the podcast for Exporting Slideshows and you mentioned be able to compress them to be sent via email. I have to admit that I do not know how to do that. Could you enlighten me?

The mere act of exporting the slideshow is compressing it. All video formats are compressed (except for a few used by pros). So it is just a matter of choosing export options that will create smaller file sizes — sacrificing the dimensions of the video and quality for file size. Try a few different options and see what files size vs. quality you get and pick one that suits your needs.
