What is the standard video size for a 4.3. when exporting a movie to burn.

  1. To burn? Do you mean burn a DVD? Do you mean 4X3? Or does 4.3 mean some version of something?
    For 4X3 it would be 640×480. But if you are using iDVD then there is no need to resize the video first. Part of the process of converting the video to DVD format would be to resize it. So you might as well just let iDVD do its work and not try to do extra work beforehand.

    • It only has two advantages over later versions: some cheesy special effects, and it accepts 3rd-party plugins. But those plug-ins are old at this point. And iMovie 11 offers so many advantages over iMovie 06 that I can’t understand why people stick with it. They are just familiar with it, I guess.
