Greetings,

I have been using Garageband in my elementary classroom to record rap songs about learning. I am wondering if you can change the scale of certain parts of a song? I can set the scale at the beginning for the whole project, but I would like to make scale adjustment within the song. Do you know if this is possible and how to do it?

Thanks again for all of your help and for a great podcast!

  1. Yes. If you open the track editor at the bottom and select a section of a track, you can adjust the Pitch on the left. It can be a bit tricky to get going, but it does work.

I tried it out and it changed the pitch for the entire song…any other ideas that may work? Thanks!
