MacMost Forum / Tech specs not visible for my MacBook on support.apple.com/specs

Hi, i just saw the macmost podcast about being able to see the apple device’s specs on the apple support website. However, when i tried with the serial # of my macbook, it came back with ‘no results found’!! I cross-checked and the serial # is correct and was correctly ‘pasted’ on the site. Why is this occurring? Is it because my macbook is from 2008 (i think) or because it is a re-furbished one? —–

    Either you must be entering the wrong number, or including something like an extra space or charter. Or, the database is simply incomplete.
