MacMost Forum / Top Task Bar Contents

I’ve noticed that with the update to Lion, the task bar now has a name on the right most spot, right next to the spotlight. Is there any way to eliminate that name?

    What name? Do you mean your user name? That appears next to Spotlight in the menu bar if you have Fast User Switching turned on.
    But that isn’t new to Lion. That was in Leopard and Snow Leopard too.
    Go to System Preferences, Users & Groups, Login Options (have to unlock here by clicking on the padlock below), and then turn off Fast User Switching to get rid of the name.
