MacMost Forum / Trash Sound Not Playing

Hi Gary, for a few days now my trash icon sounds haven’t been working and I can’t figure out why. I have looked around websites to find a solution but none fixed my problem. I have looked in the sound options in the system preferences and everything is fine over there as far as I am aware. Have you experienced this problem? Do you know what could be the problem? thanks

    If everything is fine in the System Preferences, then the next step would be to reset your sound prefs completely. Try deleting the file com.apple.soundpref.plist in your ~/Library/Preferences and restarting to see if that works.
