MacMost Forum / What happens to bootcamp when Lion is installed

What happens to my bootcamp partition when OSX 10.7 is installed, in place of OSX 10.6.8? Does the partition just go away?

    If you do a normal install of Lion (no messing around with clearing your hard drive or anything weird) then it doesn’t do anything to it. I believe there are some new drivers that get installed when you next run Windows, but that should be it.
    I think there would be major complaining going on if everyone’s boot camp partition suddenly disappear when upgrading to Lion!
