I’ve been running Windows XP under Boot Camp. Is replacing that version with Windows 7 as simple as inserting the Windows 7 installation DVD on the Windows side and following the instructions? Would you expect Windows 7 to overwrite Windows XP “nicely?” Thanks.

  1. Yes, I would expect the Windows install CD to “update” your old Windows OS just fine. Won’t be able to tell until you try, but I’d be surprised if it didn’t.

I run windows NT 4.0 service pack 6 on my PowerBook G4 15″,
with 256mb of ram, runs fine. ( I mean Virtual machine!)

It’s made for serious users of computers.
