MacMost Forum / Word Formatting Palette Just Off the Screen

My Formatting Palate is just off screen (Microsoft Word for Mac). I check to see the Fomatting Palate and I see if fly off screen. How can I get it back to where I can see/use it on my screen?

    I remember running into this with Word a long time ago. I think I solved it by changing the screen resolution, which forced Word to move the palettes. Then I changed the resolution back.
    You can also find and delete the Word preferences file, but that is risky.

    go to VIEW then click on Formatting Palette

      Neither suggestions solved the problem. The palette flies below the border of the right-center portion of the screen, and will return to the Toolbar when selected, either by icon or under VIEW, but is not available for use. Any other insights would be greatly appreciated. 2010Mar07
