10.6.8 future updates?

Will Apple still be updating OSX 10.6.8?
A lot of effort seems to be placed on Lion at the moment, and I prefer to wait about a year before changing my 2007 Mini. I find Lion a bit similar to iOS, which I work on for 95% of my workflow (iPad).
Hopefully, Apple will keep supporting my hardware/software, and I won’t be pushed into upgrading it for at least a year.
Keep up your great work,

Yes. Apple has a history of supporting previous versions. Just recently they have released updates for Leopard (10.5) in fact.
But we'll just have to see with this one. At some point new versions of iTunes and iOS will come out that require Lion. I would think that they would be more than a year from now, though.

Yes i can confirm that. I had an update on Snow Leopard for Lion and iTunes. I suppose its for when i upgrade to Lion, but i am not upgrading to Lion. I am unsure what the the iTunes one was about. I have not noticed any difference. I will check the one about iTunes. When i think about it i have had about 3 updates.
