Add a Plus Sign Before a Positive Number

Hi, how would you add a plus sign before a positive number in Numbers? Showing % changes and would like to have minus and plus signs for easy reference

    One way you can do this is to use custom formatting.
    Select the cell(s) you want to format this way. Then in the inspector, set the formatting for the cells to use a custom format.
    You'll need to use the + button in the custom format dialog to set up what formatting to use when the numbers is less than 0, and greater than 0. Put a - before the number for one, and a + for the other. If you have never used the custom format dialog box before, it takes some experimentation to figure it out. But you can definitely use it to get what you want.
    Then as a bonus it will save the custom format so you can easily apply it elsewhere.
