adding music in garage band

I have and old cd with a recording of my friend singing along with playing his guitar.
Can i add drums piano and any other instrument with garge band and mix it with his audio footage?

    Sure, you can try. Just import the CD into iTunes like you would any other CD. Then add it in GarageBand via the media browser (or drag and drop the file). It will take a lot of work, especially if you are not experienced with GarageBand or programs like it.
