I just downloaded iOS 4.2 and then find out that AirPrint only works with hp eprint featured printers I thought that they were supposed to have a program you could install on a Mac or pc that would allow you to print like eurosmartz does until more printer makers added the drivers to operate the air print do you have any info that pertains to this

Apple has commented many times over the past few weeks that the AirPrint functionality is just a start and that it will be expanded over time. I would expect more printers soon -- and it will probably become a standard on printers in the future. I would also expect some Mac software will come out to compliment AirPrint at some point.
