Chip on MacBook Casing

Hey Gary

I’ve just noticed a chip on the front lid casing is there anything I can do to fix it? It’s the aluminum MBP and I’ve only had it for a few months

Most likely there is nothing you can do. That sort of thing isn't covered by AppleCare, of course. I'd imagine any shop that would repair it would charge you a pretty penny, perhaps replacing the whole case.
Consider it a sign of pride: that you use your MacBook with gusto and aren't afraid to get a few nicks and scratches on it if that's what it takes to get your work done!
